Come with us for a day of fun and excitement you wont forget. We are a vibrant, innovative and highly professional company utilising the latest in white water technology and we are world leaders in training and safety standards.
Your full day adventure includes;
- Return transfers from accommodation
- Morning tea
- Spectacular rainforest walk
- Rainforest interpretation
- Time to swim in crystal clear swimming hole
- 3 full hours of white water rafting
Along the way, you will learn about the rainforest, see crystal clear rivers, marvel at breathtaking scenery and of course experience the exciting rapids of the wild Russell River.
There is nothing else like this in Australia. It is affordable, nail biting and exhilarating! With rapids ranging from grade 1 to 4, there is something for everyone on this river.
Just an hour south of Cairns, we have created a rafting adventurers dream on the Russell River.
Your extreme rafting experience starts with a trek through the dense rainforest of the Russell River valley, carrying inflatable 2 man sports kayaks with you (the lightweight kayaks are deflated and the packs are share carried to the launch point)
After 3 hours of exhilarating white water rafting its time to relax around a delicious barbecue lunch.
Please note there is an additional rafting levy of $30 per person to be paid on the day.
Location
Cairns (Cairns and Tropical North QLD - Queensland)
We will collect you from your Cairns accommodation.
Exact meeting point and supplier's details are provided immediately after booking.
Numbers
You will be on the raft with others passengers. If you book for 4 or more, each person pays only $110 each (saving $20!).
Session Time
Pickup 9:00am, return 5:30pm
Guidelines & Restrictions
Remember to bring swimming costume under your clothes, large towel, enough money for drinks/souvenirs, change of clothes, lace-up shoes that will get wet & suncream. For safety reasons, no jewellery is to be worn. Rapids are grade 3-4. Minimum age 13.
Please note that some medical conditions may exclude participants from rafting for safety reason. Passengers should disclose any medical conditions at time of booking.
Extra Info
Group/Family rates apply for bookings of 4 or more persons. Minimum age 13 years All passengers must sign a liability release form prior to rafting. If passenger is under 18 years of age a parent must sign for them. $30 pp Raft Levy is required to be paid on board.
Booking Insurance
It is recommended that you consider GoDo Cancellation Cover. This is insurance cover for losses incurred if the activity is cancelled (under certain circumstances) by you or the activity supplier. Click here for further details.
Please note: GoDo and/or the activity supplier cannot provide a REFUND for cancellations, no matter the reasons. However, should you obtain Cancellation Cover, you maybe be able to make a claim directly to Mondial Assistance, our Cancellation Cover provider.
