Overview

Your weekend will commence by being welcomed by your hosts Geoff and Gail, who will settle you in and prepare you for your chosen activities.

Horse riding - our experienced trail leaders will assess your riding ability and match you to a horse commensurate with your experience. You will be given a quick but detailed demonstration in riding and controlling your horse. Then it's off to explore the mountains and rainforest. We travel up Mount Moollatto, seeing wildlife that includes parrots, cockatoos, wallabies, reptiles and lyre birds. At the top of the mountain you experience unlimited and uninterrupted views over Lake Yarrunga and the 140,000 hectares of the Morton National Park(spectacular photo opportunity).

Canoeing - your adventure takes place on the Kangaroo River, where you'll ride the rapids and enjoy the seclusion of gliding through the wilderness.

Accommodation - our apartment offers a queen size/double bed plus provision for 2 extras with pull out double bed lounge, a self-contained kitchen, with ensuite. Safety is an issue with young children who must be supervised i.e. open dams, electric fencing and horses.
