Overview
Your experience starts as you are welcomed aboard our historic steam train. Sit back and relax as you take a journey through time from Maldon to Castlemaine on the former Victorian Railways Castlemaine to Maldon Broad-Gauge Branchline in the Mount Alexander Shire.
You will be provided with a glass of local wine and light nibbles to enjoy on your steam train journey.

Maldon (Goldfields - Victoria)
This activity takes place in Maldon / Castlemaine - Central Victoria.

Numbers
This experience is for two people, although there will be other passengers on the train.
Session Time
The return steam train journey takes 2 hours, including a short break for engine turnaround. Depending on the times chosen to travel,there is an opportunity to spend some time in either of the historic goldfields towns of Maldon or Castlemaine and returning on a later train.

We recommend a dress code of casual and comfortable - so you are relaxed on your journey!
