Overview

Experience the best of both worlds as you prepare to try sky diving tandem over Byron Bay and experience the breath-taking beauty of both coastal and mountain range views.

When you walk in the door, you will be greeted by our friendly staff who will take you through some paperwork before meeting your experienced tandem skydive instructor. Your instructor will fit you with our free fly skydive pants and latest technology harness and take you through your skydive training (approximately a 20 minute safety briefing). Your instructor will control all of your equipment so you can just enjoy the ride!

Then you will board the plane for your ride to height over Byron Bay taking in the breathtaking views of the coast and mountain ranges. Onboard with the crew (up to 17 other skydivers) feel your excitement building in anticipation. Then the door of the plane will open and your amazing skydive begins: an exhilarating rush of adrenalin as you exit the plane!

Feel the air rushing past you for over 60 seconds of freefall and see our amazing coastal views as you fly back to earth at approximately 220km/hour.

Then your canopy will open and you will fly back to the drop zone.

You will receive a signed certificate from your instructor, and if you decided to purchase videos / photos (additional cost), they will be fully edited to music and ready to view in approximately 10 minutes on our large TV with surround sound! Also check out your still photographs and email them around the world with our free internet cafe or get quality prints on the spot.

Remember, that all skydiving operations are affected by weather conditions. We cannot jump in strong winds or through cloud. If the weather is a problem at the time of your skydive, we will delay your jump or reschedule it for a later date.

Location

Byron Bay (Far Nth Coast / Byron - New South Wales)

This jump takes place in Tyagarah, NSW - just 10 minutes north of Byron Bay, NSW. We provide free return transfers from Byron Bay, Gold Coast and Brisbane. Byron Bay pick ups are from your accommodation 30 minutes prior to booking time and return after your skydive. Gold Coast pick ups Monday to Saturday at 8am and Sunday at 9am from your accommodation (leave Byron Bay at 4pm to return to Gold Coast). Brisbane pick ups are at 8am (leave Byron Bay at 4pm to return to Brisbane).

Exact meeting point and supplier's details are provided immediately after booking.

Numbers

The price quoted is for one person. Our aircraft can hold up to 17 people so we are ideal for large groups of friends. Each person will have their own instructor for the whole experience and will receive one on one training for the jump.

Session Time

We are open 7 days a week from sunrise to sunset, all year round. Bookings should be made at least 24 hours prior and we suggest to allow approximately 2.5 hours for your whole skydive experience.

Guidelines & Restrictions

Minimum age is 14 years, and under the age of 18 years must have guardian's consent and be accompanied through briefing by a guardian. Weight limit is 100kg however we are flexible up to 110kgs. If you have a medical condition please consult your doctor if you have any concerns regarding sky diving.

You will be provided with skydive pants that can be worn over the top of your own pants/shorts. You will need to be wearing runners or enclosed shoes (these can be provided if you don't have your own). In winter, we recommend that a long sleeved top be worn as it can be fairly cold at height.

All of our sky dive staff are highly trained qualified members of the Australian Parachute Federation. On the day you can purchase a digital DVD (hand cam) $119 OR digital DVD (dedicated) $174 OR digital photo's (30 - 50) $149 OR dedicated video and (30 - 50) photo's $214. Weight limits 110 (all persons over 100 will be assessed on the day) Age Limits minimum 14 years (under 18 must have parent consent)

It is recommended that you consider GoDo Cancellation Cover. This is insurance cover for losses incurred if the activity is cancelled (under certain circumstances) by you or the activity supplier. Click here for further details.

Please note: GoDo and/or the activity supplier cannot provide a REFUND for cancellations, no matter the reasons. However, should you obtain Cancellation Cover, you maybe be able to make a claim directly to Mondial Assistance, our Cancellation Cover provider.
